Admissions

At Bridges of Hope, we are a faith-based residential recovery program—not a medical treatment center. We do not provide medical, psychiatric, or professional counseling services, and insurance companies will not cover our program fees.

If you or a loved one is seeking long-term drug and alcohol addiction recovery in Georgia, please review the admissions guidelines below to prepare for your stay.

Program Fee

 $900 per month (or pro-rated for partial months), payable by check or cash upon admission.

Eligibility

Must be able to participate in daily work activities; medical detox and dual-diagnosis services are not provided.

Pre-Approval

All prescription medications must be approved in advance.

What NOT to Bring – All Locations

  • No opened containers (toiletries, food, beverages, etc.)

  • No protein-based supplements (shakes, power bars, drinks, etc.)

  • No cell phones, iPods, or any electronic devices

  • No previously opened medication containers

  • No medications containing mood-altering ingredients (including “Night-time” or “PM” types)

For safety and compliance with our recovery program, the following items are strictly prohibited:

Please bring only approved items. Any items not allowed will be sent home with family members at admission.

Required Items:

  • Check or cash for the first month’s program fee.

  • Linens: towels, washcloths, twin sheets, pillow, blanket (linens can be provided if needed).

  • Combination lock for securing personal items in a locker.

  • Clothing:

    • 3–4 pairs of work pants & shorts (with belt loops)

    • 3–4 casual shirts

    • 2–3 collared shirts

    • Belt

    • Work shoes, tennis shoes, and shower shoes
       

  • Personal hygiene items (toothbrush, razors, deodorant, soap, etc.).

  • 5–6 pairs of underwear and socks.
    Reading material: Limited to AA, NA, Hazelden, recovery-related, or spiritually-based books.

  • Spending money for store items (cigarettes, candy, etc. – tobacco products allowed).

  • Prescription medications:

    • 30-day supply

    • Must be in original prescription containers
       

  • Supplemental medications (vitamins, aspirin, Tylenol, Motrin, etc.):​

  • Envelopes, paper, and stamps.

  • Contact addresses for probation, parole, court, attorney, etc.
    (Residents are responsible for all outside contact information; personal calls are not made on residents’ behalf.)

Recommended Items

  • Wristwatch

  • Insect repellent

  • Alarm clock (without radio)

  • Small personal fan

  • Travel-size soap dish

  • Folding camping chair
